For the subject Product Design 3 of college, we were required to design a solar lighter based on a certain type of user. In my case, the design was intended for hikers. Its critical points are: quick to use, agile, comfortable, always within reach. It was inspired by the morphology of Zippo lighters, and its material is aluminum. Its technology is quite simple. It features a fresnel lens (made of pvc plastic), which are lightweight, portable sheets used to collect or amplify light. Furthermore, it has a small hook that is used to wear it as a pendant, a qr code that can be scanned to see a video on how to use it, a textured grip and finally, neodymium magnets as an opening method.
